Manufacturer: Syracuse China
Pattern: Adam
Date of samples: 1926 – 1929
Notes: This design, consisting of ornaments, urns and swags, was copyrighted by Syracuse China in 1926. Many manufacturers offered their own similar versions of the Adam pattern. Syracuse is known to have made theirs in blue, black, green and red, as shown below. The blue frequently blurred during firing.
The Blue Adam pattern was used for a short time on the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad's Prospector, but Blue Adam is an extremely common stock pattern and it was never railroad backstamped.
