Manufacturer: Syracuse China
Pattern: Art Moderne series, Kimberly pattern
Date of soup bowl and platter: 1928
Notes: This design is shown in a binder of Syracuse underglazed patterns as #47000 Kimberly, and in a binder of overglazed patterns as #P-36 Kimberly (both shown above). Based on this, we believe that Kimberly is the pattern name and that, like Syracuse's Peasantry series, Art Moderne is the name designated by Syracuse for what might have been a series of patterns, though no others have been found yet.
White-bodied, hand-colored pattern of green, black, purple, and blue on the wide rim.
