Notes: This pattern was made by both Syracuse China and Buffalo China as custom designs for the Atlantic Coast Line. Both versions were made on ivory-bodied ware. Regardless of manufacturer, the railroad version had the light green line on the rim.
Syracuse's version was called Flowers of the Southland. In addition to being made for railroad use with the light green line, it was also a popular stock pattern, with the main difference between the two being the substitution of a black line for the green.
The design has sprays of hibiscus, jessamine and poinsettia flowers inside the pale green line of this small fruit bowl.
