Notes: Located at the Boardwalk and Park Place in Atlantic City, N.J., the seven-story Marlborough Hotel, which opened in 1901, and the nine-story concrete Blenheim Hotel, which opened in 1905, remained in the Josiah White Family for their entire existence.
In 1907, the two hotels were joined by a walkway for easier access. Both hotels had a total of 500 rooms and suites and housed the famous Wedgwood Room.
When the casino frenzy hit Atlantic City, the Marlborough-Blenheim closed it doors in October 1977. It was imploded on January 5, 1979, to make room for a Bally's Casino.
