Manufacturer: Carr China Company
User: International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (or Rebekahs or Rebekah Lodges or Daughters of Rebekah)
Date of cup: 1949
Notes: From the Wikipedia: "The Rebekah Lodges were founded in the early 1850s, largely due to the efforts of an Odd Fellow named Schuyler Colfax. Initially, the Rebekah Degree was granted at Odd Fellow Lodges, but by the 1880s, the Rebekahs and Odd Fellows conducted separate lodge activities, as they do today. The Rebekah Lodges get their name from the Biblical character of Rebekah."
(Colfax was vice-president of the United States under Ulysses S. Grant and was speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1862 to 1865.)
The Dorcas Rebekah Lodge No. 275, located in Philippi, W.V., is still listed as a West Virginia tax-exempt organization (2023).
White body cup with a lime green stripe around the center. On the left side of the cup, above the stripe, are the words "Dorcas Rebekah Lodge 275" over the words "Philippi, W.Va.." All of the lettering is in a burgundy Old English font and both phrases are slightly arched upward.
