Notes: Located at 1 Fountain Street in Cambridge, Pennsylvania, the Riverside Hotel, now called the Riverside Inn, has been in continuous operation on the banks of French Creek since 1885. This Victorian Hotel provided natural healing waters of the Gray Mineral Springs to its guests.
Though the Mineral Water Era peaked circa 1908, the Riverside continues its operation to this day (2012), offering rest and relaxation to "city-weary" guests.
The Riverside underwent a complete renovation in 1985, and in 2010, the recent owners began another renovation effort of this 125-room historic inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Riverside was destroyed by fire in the early morning of May 2, 2017.
