Notes: Martin's was a restaurant located in North Syracuse, N.Y., that specialized in fried chicken, or as the restaurant called it, "the original Chicken on the Rough."
First reference to Martin's was found in a May 24, 1940, Syracuse Herald Journal display ad, but it is not known when it opened. The restaurant came to an abrupt end on December 2, 1971, when it was destroyed by fire and was not rebuilt.
Econo Rim white body with border of red and green lines. Topmarked with a red rooster in the center wearing patched overalls, carrying a red stick with a green bindle and the name Martin's in green beneath.
