Notes: This service plate was used at the newly opened Mark Twain Hotel in St. Louis — most likely in the main dining room, the Versailles Room. When the Mark Twain opened (late 1928) it was part of the Claridge Hotel Co. By 1933, the Mark Twain was a Sweet-Pick Hotel, and by 1938, it was part of the Albert Pick hotel chain.
