Notes: Named for the French explorer Pierre Esprit Radisson, the hotel was located at 45 S. Seventh Street in Minneapolis, Minn. Built in 1909 at a cost of $1.5 million, the 12-story, 350-room hotel opened December 15, 1909 and was the home of the famous Teco Inn. A later addition brought the room count to 500. In the 1950s, the hotel had two cafes: the Flame Room and the Viking Room. By the 1970s the hotel was in decline and closed November 20, 1981. It was imploded on December 15, 1982.
White body, 10" plate. Elaborate, multi-colored rim pattern between gold pinlines with a lizard and crown above. Shield logo with three chevrons and griffins, a griffin above, and banner below with Labore et Honore. Ribbon with Hotel Radisson.
