Notes: According to the 1927 Hotel Red Book, the 33-floor, 1000-room Savoy-Plaza Hotel was being built at 767 5th Avenue at East 58th Street and the Northeast corner of 59th Street in New York and opened in 1928. The Beaux-Arts style hotel building was demolished in 1964 and replaced by the 50-story General Motors Building in 1968.
